Hey folks! Did you like the slightly "hardcore" designs that Mattel offered us in 2026? Well, you won't be disappointed in 2027 with the new Primal Ambush line, which features even more spikes, horns, and sails (and a Super Saiyan small ceratopsian, for some reason). Even if some of the designs are more reminiscent of the Monster Hunter game series than the Jurassic Park/World franchise, you have to admit that at least Mattel can't be accused of lacking imagination (maybe a bit too much). ;) Beyond the main line, we have the usual Legacy Collection Reimagined series, as well as the Hammond Collection, which is introducing a new sub-line inspired by the 2026 SDCC Raptor: the Sketchbook Stories line. Also entering the ring is the new Colossal Clash line, which seems to replace the Ultimate Damage line from previous years, and features dinos with removable flesh pieces, a feature straight back from 1993! Mattel is now entering its tenth year of Jurassic toys, and it's clear they don't look ready to stop anytime soon.
